How you can get involved

Fundraisers, volunteers and community support are vital for us to be able to continue our work and we want to support you in whatever it is you do; fundraising should be fun (as well as financially beneficial) so do what you want to do!

You could fundraise on your own, or with friends and family. You could get your school or work involved, perhaps your college, university or faith group – we will support you! We have collection tins, buckets, banners and t-shirts you can borrow. You can download a blank poster here and a sponsorship form here.

Below are some ideas we have come up with:

Why not take on a challenge? This could be a walking, running or cycling event – whatever takes your fancy. If you are feeling very adventurous why not take on a sky dive?

Why not organise a pub quiz, hold a dinner party, host a bingo night or go all out and arrange a charity auction?

If you want to get out in your local community why not organise a street collection or bag packing at your local supermarket?

At work you could hold a cake sale or dress down day? Perhaps even a day of fancy dress in the office? Why not put us forward to be your works charity of the year?

If you fancy doing any or all of the above, but just not on your own, then why not consider setting up a fundraising community group?
